1 Wing Reunion - 1958

Comments by Jon Marshall - There was a 1 Wing reunion held ar RCAF Station Rockliffe on 11 October 1958. It was great to see the people I had served with a few years previously, including the station Warrant Officer Jimmy St. Laurent and the Station Commander, Bud Somerville. It was 2-3 days of war stories, beer drinking, and recounting adventures. In the early days of the Air Division, 90% of the people were single or unaccompanied for the commonality of barrack life was contagious.

Please advise us by email message if you happen to have any detail pertaining to the 1958 reunion, or any other reunion that was held for 1 Wing personnel. Needless to say - we are more than willing to add any photos, slides, or other memorabilia pertaining to 1 Wing reunions.
